Day 2/3
Nuwara Eliya
•  Breakfast at hotel.
•  AFTER RECEIVING PCR TEST 
•  Nuwara Eliya City Tour.
•  Leaf to Cup Experience. 
•  Return to the hotel.

Nuwara Eliya (Duration 01 Hrs)
Wave after wave of tea plantations greet you when you enter the famous town of Nuwara Eliya which gives off the atmosphere of a British countryside village. The combination of a cool climate and a hot cup of tea perfectly framed within a beautiful postcard scenery makes this a must visit in your adventure in Sri Lanka. 

Experience Leaf to Cup (Duration 02 Hrs)
Tea & Experience Factory is unique amidst hotels around Nuwara Eliya in its concept, as guests are invited to reside in luxury in an actual working tea factory where they experience the artisanal journey of tea from ‘Leaf to Cup’. The guests are provided with the opportunity of plucking, weighing, rolling, fermenting, withering, grading and packaging tea under the guidance of our tea expert. The hotel employs an ex-planter whose expertise in tea manufacturing helps ensure the authenticity of the experience, teaching the guests various techniques and tricks of the craft. As a reward for contributing first-hand in the production, guests are gifted a sample of their tea to take back home as a souvenir.

Nuwara Eliya Hotel – Yala Hotel(Approx.4 ½ Hrs Drive)
  • After breakfast transfer to hotel in Yala.

Day 5/6
Yala
  • Breakfast at hotel.
  • 2ND PCR WILL BE TAKEN. 
  • Morning/Afternoon safari at Yala National Park.
  • Visit Kirinda Temple.
  • Return to the hotel. 
  • Dinner & Overnight stay at hotel.

Yala National Park (Duration 04 Hrs) 

This park is famous for leopard spotting. The chances of you catching a glimpse of the usually very elusive, leopard are relatively high in this park compared to the other national parks in the island. The parkland includes many lakes, rivers and jungles where over 32 species of mammals, over hundreds of species of birds and many reptiles. The park is located in a dry zone so be ready for an extremely hot safari if you visit the dry seasons. 

Kirinda Temple (Duration 01 Hrs)

  • This temple built atop a rocky out crop next to the sea is said to be built where King Kelanitissa put his daughter off to see.
  • Princess Vihara Maha Devi chosen to be the sacrifice to atone for a crime committed by her father, by offering to be cast off to sea to apace the Gods.

  • Colombo City Tour.
